Working With Words of Affirmation
Words of affirmation have unbelievable power. More power than you can imagine.
They can heal, they can bless, they can open doors of opportunity that might just bring you amazing prosperity and abundance.
They can bring love, peace, joy and happiness. All this from simple powerful affirmations.
But words also have a darker side because they can also harm, hurt, destroy and keep you in a state of lack.
They can cause hate, fear, wars and create total chaos.
So What Are Affirmations
According to Webster's Dictionary, it is a word you use to declare positively, to assert, to confirm, to make a formal statement, and according to the law of attraction, it means the same. To make a positive declaration or a formal statement of your intention or desire.
They are statements or tools you can use to improve your life just by choosing and repeating the correct words.
These phrases or statements can be repeated everyday so that they can help you reprogram your subconscious mind.
This is done in order to eliminate blockages, to help you re-invent yourself, and to open your mind-set to the positive possibilities that surround you.
Not only can you create affirmations to improve all areas of your life, but you can also use them to improve your family and friend's lives.
When To Use Affirmations
You can use affirmations anytime you want to manifest something into your life, regardless if it's a material item, or a physical or emotional change.
EXAMPLE:
Manifesting something material into your life could be a certain promotion at work, a car, a house, money or wanting to take a special vacation.
Manifesting a physical change could mean anything from losing weight, getting your teeth fixed, to getting a manicure.
While emotional changes would entail changing things like your feelings of sadness, feelings of doubt, feelings of anger or feelings of lack.

Use affirmations anytime you want to improve your life or eliminate certain blockages. The possibilities and benefits are endless.
Tips For Creating Words Of Affirmation
1. When creating affirmations you want to make them personal to you or whoever it was created for.
2. Make sure you use them in the present tense. For example, "I am for being on time." not "I will be on time."
3. Keep them precise and as short as possible.
3. Be positive with your affirmations. Do not use any words that create a sense of negativity, doubt, hate, anger or lack.
Here are some words that must absolutely avoid using: can't, won't, will, hope, only, need, should, never, wish, impossible, don't, not enough and always.
As I've explained before, if you use these words, your mind will automatically see them as being negative affirmations, or affirmations of lack, doubt and something that you want to happen in the uncertain future.
EXAMPLE:
Say "I attract successful people into my life." not "I hope to attract successful people into my life."
Say "I have all the information I need to succeed." not "I will have all the information I need to succeed."
Say "I am surrounded by abundance of all types." not "I wish I was surrounded by abundance of all types."
4. Even though I suggest repeating your affirmation at certain times during the day, you should always do what feels right and comfortable. So repeat it as you see fit, and for as long as you feel like doing it.
6. For those of you who have a hard time seeing your affirmations as being true I've included the phrase "I am for..." I noticed people have more success believing when starting their affirmation off with this phrase. Because believing in your affirmation and feeling that it's real is just as important as the other steps.
So try it and see how it feels!
Anything you can do to give a sense of truth to your affirmation will do. Again, do what feels right and comfortable. Even if it's totally different or feels strange. Maintain your faith and continue to practice. In time the process will become easier.
Implementing Your Affirmations
My suggestion for implementing affirmations is to first use them to get rid of anything that is causing you blockages or limitations.
I say this because if there are old, deep seated blockages, your new affirmations may not take root in your subconscious mind until the old beliefs are eliminated.
EXAMPLE:
"I attract events and situations that bring me wealth," How can you attract wealth when you still believe you don't have enough, you're living in lack or that abundance doesn't exist?
