Unfortunately, there are many people who are still not aware that they spend a lot of time thinking and focusing on situations they don't want, instead of focusing on the things they do want. The sad thing is that they have been attracting more debt, more illness and more unsatisfactory relationships into their lives, then they spend even more time either blaming others, or the system or their surroundings for the things that are happening to them. However, there are a few who have come to realize that thoughts become things and that they are responsible for all the situations in their lives... both good and bad. If you are serious about changing your thoughts and focusing on the things you want, then continue reading below... (1) When you catch yourself speaking or thinking negatively about a situation in your life - stop - and imagine how you want it to be. See all the details about it. Hear the details, feel the details and smell the details. Most importantly, you need to feel the emotions associated with having the situation turn out as you want. (2) When it comes to visualizing, place yourself in the situation. Whatever it is, you need to be able to see yourself as you want to be... whether it's a car, a home, an exotic vacation or a new job. You have to feel comfortable with your visualization when you see yourself in it, so be sure to visualize actually sitting in the car, living in the home of your dreams, working at the job you desire or lying on the beach in your exotic vacation. (3) Think on the end results. Think about what you want to happen, and don't worry about how the universe is going to make it happen. It's the universe's job to work out the best way and time to arrange the things that are needed to manifest what you desire. Your job is to continure to remember that thoughts become things and to focus on what you want, not what you don't want. Thoughts Beome Things Example: Mike Dooley tells the story of how thoughts become things and how he used visualization and The Secret when he worked at Price Waterhouse. Mike worked in the auditing department but things were not going well. He was afraid of being fired because after each assignment he finished, his job review always said the same thing, "needs improvement." Even then he was aware that thoughts become things, and Instead of visualizing how he would succeed or become a great auditor, he visualized about what he really wanted, and that was being successful and happy working at Price Waterhouse. Mike visualized being in a happy work environment and having the company happy with his work performance. He also wanted to travel, so he made a list of all the places he wanted to go, then left it in the hands of the universe. Thoughts become things, so he didn't spend time thinking about what he didn't want, and he didn't spend time thinking how the universe would manifest the things he wanted, but he knew that whatever was manifested would be for his benefit. Well, Mike didn't become a great auditor, but he was transferred to the tax department where they absolutely loved him. He later accepted an assignement overseas in Rhiad Saudi Arabia, and even though this was not one of the places he wanted to travel to, Mike was rewarded for taking the assignment with three months paid vacation. This is when he used the money and the vacation time to travel to the places he had visualized. The universe manifested Mikes's visualization and made it a reality. Mike admitted that he would never have imagined his visualization being manifested in that way.
So don't forget that thoughts become things, and that the universe will always get you to your
destination, you don't have to control the outcome. Don't get caught up in the process of how
the universe will deliver, just continue to focus on what you want, not what you don't want.
