Positive Affirmation For Positive Living

Balance Your Emotions With Positive Thinking

In a spiritual and personal development, positive affirmation is a form of suggestion in which you make a statement of a desirable condition that you deliberately meditate on and/or repeat in order to implant that affirmation in your mind.

When you say your affirmations, I recommended you say them with a mental visualization of the desired outcome. A positive affirmation could be viewed as a way to wake up your inner resources, depending on the depth and wisdom of that affirmation.

Fill Your Affirmations With Positive Emotional Energy!

For example, you should consider saying, "I am making more room in my life for success every day". This is a much wiser, affirmation than, "I will win the lottery today!"

Also remember, affirmations must always be phrased in the first person and in the present tense ("I am") rather than a future tense ("I will"). This will make the statement more real to you.

Using affirmations that are positive is a very powerful means of reprogramming your subconscious mind. It's most effective when you repeat your affirmations in a quiet and restful state of mind and body, and can feel the emotions and vividly experience the outcome you desire.

Emotions And Your Affirmations

Although there are some who believe it's better to recite their affirmations in a flat, mechanical voice at top speed and volume, in order to elevate their "vibratory levels". I still believe it's important to feel emotion with your affirmations.

Did you know that the most often used and well-known positive affirmation is the word "Amen?" It is translated as "so be it" or "and so it is," affirming the truth of whatever is written or said immediately prior to it.

Amen As An Affirmation!

Even though Amen is often used to conclude prayers, the word itself is neutral in context and gives us a classic example of a positive affirmation more than a spiritual one.

Who knew about the power of words! Let's try using "Amen" in our affirmations.
