By now you know the importance of and the best ways to phrase affirmations. I've talked about training
your subconscious by being persistent and consistent. That this is the only way you'll get your
subconscious to believe what you're telling it.
I find the best way to accomplish this is either to write your affirmations over and over again or to speak
them out loud over and over again.
Speaking your affirmations out loud appears to give them a sense of reality and it also shuts out the chatter
of your conscious mind. This is why repetition is important.
It will eventually eliminate the negative chatter altogether, and make your affirmations true to your heart
and your sub-conscious.
When I practice this, I like to make out a plan with the object of my desire and my affirmation written on
it so that I can actually see (visualize) and affirm at the same time. This has been very productive
and it's easier.
When you write your affirmations, always put them in the present tense and always give thanks before and
after. I like to end it with the phrase "so be it," which is basically another form for "amen."
Of course the choice is up to you.
When planning ways to phrase affirmations, realize it may take anywhere from 2 weeks to two months or more
before your subconscious gets the message. The length of time depends on how many blocks you have to
over-come and how deep-seated they are in your subconscious.
These will have to be eliminated before it begins the process of finding the best ways to fulfill your
desires.
So be alert to your surroundings and the events that present themselves to you. A solution could be right
in front of you.
Example:
"I give thanks for all the blessings in my life. The gifts of God are mine. God's harmony, peace and
abundance are mine. I know that all my problems are dissolved in the Mind of God. I rejoice and give thanks,
knowing my prayers are answered.
God is the constant source of my supply, meeting all my needs instantaneously. (I repeat this 10, 20 or 30
times while looking at the check)
Abundance flows to me in fun and exciting ways, for the good of all concerned, in Divine order. My heart
shows my faith in the fulfillment of my prayers and in everything I give thanks. It is done... so be it."
I phrase affirmations like this at least 3 times a day or more. More, when the chatter in my mind becomes negative.
When that happens...I continually repeat "God is the constant source of my supply, meeting all my needs
instantaneously." I repeat it as many times as is necessary.
If you do this, you'll be surprised at the blocks you'll run across that you didn't even know you had.
You'll also be surprised at how negative the chatter in your conscious mind can be.
Phrase affirmations this with any desire you want fulfilled and see if it works for
you like it is for me.
