Is knowing your purpose important to you? what about finding purpose in life, is that important to you? Yes, to some of us, it very important, but maybe the question should be, "Why am I not already living it?" And only you know the answer to that! A lot of us seem to be searching for it... but we forget that it's already there.

Our purpose comes in the form of our goals, our dreams or our ambitions but we just don't know how to go about achieving them!

You may have discovered that knowing your purpose and living it, could possibly create the life you desire, but you have no idea how to even begin to make the plans and take the actions required to make it a reality.

Or you may have a vague idea on how to go about finding your purpose, but you're being held back by inner fears, doubts and plain old procrastination.

It Doesn't Matter What Your Beliefs Are

Or it could be that you believe inner fears and doubts have nothing to do with it, and that your happiness or lack of happiness and the success of living your purpose is decided by external factors... that your thoughts and actions have little to do with the outcome of your life.

On the other hand you may also believe that if you only had more money you could have whatever you want and be on your way to finding your purpose. You may have even spent some time thinking about what you actually want from life, and have a deep seated belief that money is the answer to finding, living and knowing your purpose.

But you know what? It doesn't matter what your beliefs are. What matters when it comes to knowing your purpose is knowing which beliefs are holding you back and getting in your way, and which beliefs will work in your favor and help you succeed in living your purpose!

Don't get caught up in thinking that if you had a "particular something" you could or would do this or that... because if you're not already doing it, chances are good that you won't do it even if you had that "particular something."

Use The Knowledge You Already Have

You now know that your goals, your dreams or your ambitions can put you on the path to discovering and living your purpose, what you do now depends heavily on you, the individual, and what's important to you.

Remember that your purpose doesn't always have to be something that will make you famous. It doesn't always have to be a job or career. It may be something as simple as being at the right place, at the right time to impart information or to lend a helping hand.

So utilize the knowledge and experiences you already have, and take the journey of discovery to finding your purpose. Don't be afraid to find out for yourself if it was worth the trip. You have to do what makes you happy and complete, and if knowing your purpose fulfills that need, then your journey won't be wasted.

One point to remember however, while in the process of finding purpose in life, don't forget that God has already provided you with what you need to live and be whatever your purpose is.

You may wonder and ask yourself if knowing your purpose is important, and again the only answer is that the deciding factor is your commitment to your personal growth and how important THAT is to you.
