Expressing Gratitude For Things Forgotten
And Gratitude For Things Remembered
Expressing gratitude for things forgotten is something that slips all of our minds sometimes. I don't mean the every day thanks we give to each other...even though that's important too, in fact it's very important that we recognize each other with a "thank you", when the occasion calls for it.
What I'm talking about is the gratitude we show to the small, forgotten things in our lives. Things that are so common to us that we tend to forget. Things that flash by us so fast...that we only give it a momentary glance--then it's forgotten.
Show Gratitude For Surviving
How about showing gratitude for the near misses in our lives. The times when accidents should have happened, but we miraculously avoided them. How about the lay-offs we survived, the prizes we've won, the people that come into our lives...just when we need them.
And don't forget about our true friends...our family...our health...our very lives.
We can't forget the earth we thrive upon, and all that's been given to us. The air we breath...and take for granted. The warmth of the sun, the animals and plants.
Show Gratitude For Everything In Life
God wanted us to be healthy, happy and properous. So everything that is, and ever will be is God's blessing to us. Large or small. Remembered or forgotten. Everything is for us!
Expressing gratitude for things forgotten is such a small act
to perform--for all the greatness that's been given to us. It doesn't take much to acknowledge our blessings, and it won't take much time out of our day.
No Gift Is Too Small For A Thank You!
Just a simple "Thank you Father for ALL that you have provided for me. Blessings large and small--remembered or forgotten. I give thanks".
Expressing gratitude for the things we have, will pave the way for the abundance we want. Expressing gratitude for the things we have--also shows God we're ready for the things we want.
May you be blessed and may you always prosper! Thank you and please come back!
