I read your article where you said we should avoid contact with negative people and limit
our contact with negative situations, and I just wanted to comment and say that this is
not always possible or feasible.
I believe we have to learn how to deal with these types of people and situations because
if we don't, they will continue to show up in our lives in one form or another.
Avoiding them won't make them go away, and doing what you suggested doesn't let us grow
and become stronger.
In growing, we know how to better deal with negative people and situations, and they in turn
will stop popping up in our lives. I'm sure you have experienced this yourself, so turning
away and avoiding isn't going to solve anything.
This happened to me recently and I thought by getting rid of the person I would get rid of
the negativity, but guess what? I invited someone into my life and my home and they are exactly
like the other person that is no longer in my life. Probably worst!
I didn't deal with the other situation... I avoided it, now it's come back to bite me in the
butt again. This time time however, I intend to deal with the person and the situation so
that I can finally put this particular problem to bed... forever!
So no! Don't avoid negative people, deal with them. Thanks for your website. I love it!
I agree with what you said and I also agree that there are some people strong enough to deal
with the negativity of others, and then there are those who aren't.
I find that those who aren't strong enough will eventually fall victim to that negativity and
lose what ground they have gained.
So the article is aimed mainly at anyone who has trouble dealing with negative people and situations.
Yes, it is best to deal with anything so it won't come back to haunt you, but what do you do until
that time?
I still say limit your involvement until you're strong enough to handle these types of situations.
There is a reason that you like some people and not others and vice versa.
When you go against your instincts and continue to associate with people who make you uncomfortable
or even physically ill, you are turning your back on your spirit guides.
We all have a path that is our purpose here on earth. We all have that inner voice which guides us.
As someone who has beat terminal illness I will tell you this: I was temporarily cured with Qigong,
oxygen therapy, fasting, raw diet and many many other modes of healing. My illness always returned.
Only after I eradicated people in my life who sucked out my life force was I able to cure myself completely.
It has been 7 years since I am completely well and I attribute this mainly to energy blockages being
cleared by getting rid of two people in my life whose energy clashing with mine was literally killing me.
Never, Never, Never go against your basic instinct! These were instilled in you for your very survival.
When one does not act in accordance with your soul's needs... not only will you suffer the consequences,
you will eventually lose that very inner voice that lets you know who is safe and who will compromise
your very existence.
I am grateful to have learned this lesson before it was too late.
