Did you know that changing your thoughts changes results on everything in your life? Even the views
you have on money! When you change your mind, you have control over the Law of Cause and Effect?
There will
always be some kind of effect from the causes you create, but now you
know that you are the
one that has a say in the end results.
You Are Never As Helpless In Life As You Think You Are...
And as long as
you are able to change your thoughts and make your own choices, you have complete
control over
that life.
It's only when you choose to let others make those choices
for you, that you loose your control, and
put yourself at the mercy of a
cause and effect outcome you don't want.
For example, You and your friend go out to lunch. You've chosen to
eliminate desserts because you want
to loose weight. She then persist in
getting dessert for the two of you.
You tell her no thanks. She insists
that it's not going to hurt anything, and you choose to let her convince
you that she's right. You order the dessert. This is the cause.
The Effect And The Outcome You Didn't Want
You feel guilty, and now
you're going to have to walk another 1/2 miles to work off a dessert,
that you
didn't want anyway, all because you let your friend influence you to changing your thoughts, to match hers.
Now for the men. You go fishing with a friend. You don't catch anything.
But you choose to let your friend
talk you into buying the fish, and
lying to your wife about catching them.
You tell your wife that indeed you did catch them, and she tells you
that she just got off the phone with
your friend's wife, and she said
her husband told her you had bought the fish. This is the cause.
The effect and the outcome you didn't want? Your wife is angry that you
lied to her, she's even angrier
that you find it so easy to lie to her,
she refuses to cook the fish, you don't get your longed-for
fish dinner,
and you end up in the dog house, sleeping on the sofa!
Boy, all because you chose to let that friend talk you into changing your thoughts, and lie to your wife.
This is NOT the outcome you wanted from your fishing trip.
So Make Your Own Choices...
Put cause and effect to work for you. Changing your thoughts, changes results,
thus giving you control over the
outcome.
By the way, your friend had a nice fish dinner, his wife was so thrilled
he BOUGHT the fish, since
he didn't catch anything, and now he's asleep in his nice, comfortable bed, with his wife. Lesson learned. Changing your thoughts, changes results.
